It's easy to get really caught up in my weight loss program but I have to remember to take breaks. Every week, I take one day off to evaluate my progress and make adjustments in my plan. This day is a day of rest and is good for my body, mind, and spirit.
My rest day is from Friday sundown to Saturday dusk. I read a book, drink my favorite herbal tea, turn off the computers and TVs, and talk to (at least) one friend on the phone or in person.
