Think of your weight loss or fitness journey like other journeys that you enjoy! If you like roadtrips, think of it as a trip to a place you enjoy and milestones along the way; or if you like quilting, think of it as a large complex quilt and take stitch by stitch, etc.
It makes it a fun way of considering where you are and where you want to be as well as the trip to get there. You can customize this to whatever hobby or interest that you have. For example, I love going to Vegas! It's gonna be a long drive, but it's going to be a blast when I get there!!!

The scale isn't the only tool I use to measure my success! I celebrate all victories! Some of the victories I've celebrated have been staying consistent with my food diary, taking my daily vitamins, making sure I drink at least 64oz of water per day. Positive thinking and consistency is the key!30

Weekends can be a dietary challenge. To help me stay on track, I stock my kitchen with healthy snacks with a theme. One weekend the theme will be fresh melon so I buy a party tray of cut melon. Another weekend, the theme will be orange and I will buy sweet potatoes, carrots, and cantaloupe.
Making eating fun helps me stay on track.
