Install A Clothesline

Save money on drying towels, bedding, throw rugs etc. Do it for free!

I save my heavy laundry for warm, sunny days. Wash, hang outside in the early morning and take down from the line in mid afternoon. I do not do clothing this way since light wears out thin fabrics sooner, but towels, sheets, blankets dry well outside.

I have several drying racks that I put out on my deck for drying clothes. Here in the south, our days can get quite warm and sometimes my clothes dry faster outside than in the dryer.

As soon as the snow is gone and it is not raining, I am hanging all of my clothes outside on the line. Nothing like the smell of freshly washed and outside dried sheets on your bed!
