Save money on drying towels, bedding, throw rugs etc. Do it for free!
I save my heavy laundry for warm, sunny days. Wash, hang outside in the early morning and take down from the line in mid afternoon. I do not do clothing this way since light wears out thin fabrics sooner, but towels, sheets, blankets dry well outside.

Binder clips to hold a sheer curtain behind a drape
I have drapes on my windows and sheer curtains. Rather than install a second set of screws to hold the curtains, I used binder clips on the already installed drapery holders. The smaller curtain rod easily slides through the binder clips.
A lot of today's drapery hardware juts about 3 inches out from the wall. The binder clip is placed upside down on the jutting piece and its "clips" unfolded to straight down. The gap in the clips is large enough to hold the small diameter curtain rods.
