Planning weekly menus saves money, cuts down on produce waste, and creates variety
Select 5-7 meals that can share something like raw carrots, celery, bell peppers and divide them throughout the week, and it will cut down on the bill. For more details e-mail me on how I do it. It won't allow me explain my system here.
Farmers Markets are fantastic in the summer but they're not every day and usually only in the summer. But check if your town has a produce market that stocks a few essentials but mostly tons and tons of fresh produce. Do as much of your grocery shopping here as you can and there's much less junk food to be tempted by!
