Write a letter to yourself from your future "skinny" self. Tell yourself you love you and that you support your efforts. If you don't love you you won't reach your goals. Say positive things in your letter that let you know you can fight the weight loss battle!
I wrote my own letter to myself. You can read it in my blog "A Letter To Me". Feel free to use mine to get your own started!

Write a letter to yourself a week from now, anticipating how you might perform (or perceive your performance) during that week. Encourage yourself and call yourself out on your excuses - write whatever you believe is needed for where you are - and read that same letter in seven days. During those days keep that letter in mind. Try to 'earn' the feeling of encouragement you wrote down for yourself, or maybe even prove wrong the doubts you wrote down by doing something opposite everyday! (Repeat!)
Don't look at the whole amount you must lose or the quantity of time you need. "Chunk" your time and write yourself a letter to start and end each chunk of time. Set a period of time- 3 months, 1 month, whatever. Write a letter to yourself as you start stating what you believe will happen by the end. Seal the envelope and set it where you can see it.
At the end of the chunk, write a letter telling what actually happened. Then write a new one to start a new "chunk". Keep the old letters as motivation.
Take time and write a love letter to yourself...write what you need to hear and then read it loud to yourself. On those hard, trying days, pull it out and read it again. You will be surprised to see the difference it makes. It feels so good to be accepted and appreciated!!!
