It is Fitness Week at work in the Gym. They are giving us a different activity to do everyday to earn extra points. Yesterday 20 crunches on the ball, 10 hamstring curls with the ball, 10 push ups legs on the ball. Today 1/2 mile walk outside around our park area. Adding new things to a routine!
Still use the Elliptical, Tread Mill or Recumbent bike everyday for cardio. Twice a week also engage in Fitness Pilates which really works up a sweat and the flexibility I have gained since starting in January is AMAZING!

I try not to do the same exercise routine every cardio day. I know I could easily get stuck in a rut, but I go jogging some days, alternate that with spinning classes, ride my bike outside, walk, and take different routes. Variety keeps things interesting.
So, you're a runner, right? Well, go take a Zumba class! Or you're a swimmer? How about some spinning?!
Your body can settle into a groove if you do the same workout all the time... keep things interesting and you'll shock your body - and that shock will being about a change!
The same idea of shaking things up applies to your calorie intake. Try fluctuating your calories a little bit some days... or maybe up your protein... or up your carbs... go vegetarian for a few days... keep your body guessing, and you'll reap the benefits for sure!
189I am finding doing Wii fit plus yoga in my own routine each morning helps wake up the cobwebs in my mind and get me motivated to seize the day! I try to mix up poses and some strength exercise in "my routine" to keep thing interesting and longer or shorter durations. 414
It a good way to get your mind in the right place and strengthen your body. It sure helps me limber up in the mornings.
