It is Fitness Week at work in the Gym. They are giving us a different activity to do everyday to earn extra points. Yesterday 20 crunches on the ball, 10 hamstring curls with the ball, 10 push ups legs on the ball. Today 1/2 mile walk outside around our park area. Adding new things to a routine!

Still use the Elliptical, Tread Mill or Recumbent bike everyday for cardio. Twice a week also engage in Fitness Pilates which really works up a sweat and the flexibility I have gained since starting in January is AMAZING!

I try not to do the same exercise routine every cardio day. I know I could easily get stuck in a rut, but I go jogging some days, alternate that with spinning classes, ride my bike outside, walk, and take different routes. Variety keeps things interesting.
So, you're a runner, right? Well, go take a Zumba class! Or you're a swimmer? How about some spinning?!
Your body can settle into a groove if you do the same workout all the time... keep things interesting and you'll shock your body - and that shock will being about a change!
