Instead of making toast, try eating a rice cake with peanut butter or whatever you put on your toast. Rice cakes have roughly 30-40 calories, instead of 100-200 per slice of bread. You save calories without losing flavor, which will benefit you later!

Raised by a Scot and an Englishman with a good sense of humour, I was lovingly teased about how I 'almost' brought shame to the family by not liking tea growing up. Now I've discovered herbal teas and that they can be enjoyed cold and even mixed with a bit of lemonade, which adds a whole lot of flavour and the citrus is found to help the body absorb nutrients from green tea. Look out soda, you've been replaced! :D Super frugal, too!!! :-D Cheers! or Slainte! :-)271
Incidentally, Slainte is the Gaelic toast to good health! :-D
