Just because a food is labeled organic does not mean it is good for you, organic soda is still soda. There is evidence that soils rich in organic matter produce more nutritious food, food with more vitamins, flavonoids, and minerals.

    Organic is another way of saying increased profit margin, in my opinion. I do agree that because something is marked as organic is no reason to believe it healthy.

    This is sort of the same "health food halo" you get at that fast food sandwich place that starts with a Sub. I know I've fallen for it in the past at the local health food store and ended up buying things that were crazy high in calories that I would never have picked up at the regular grocery store because I was in a "healthy" place.
