When your closet starts getting overcrowded, take all the hangers with your clothes and put them in backwards. If you use a garment, you can reverse the hanger. After a month pull all the clothes that are still hung backwards and remove them -- you're not wearing them and they just take up space!
You can put them into a temporary "hold" area but if you still haven't worn them give them to Goodwill or your favorite charity. That leaves space for all the new "thinner you" clothes you'll need to get!

I am writing a book Closets by Chriss. I spend a lot of time, thinking about closets, especially in rental units like apartments.I have a schedule of closet maintenance, products and put the time in to maintain what is in my closets.
I don't hold with the theory that in order to create more room for clothing is to purge our wardrobes. I say, just buy more closet space instead. People spend a large amount of money on clothing throwing it out just doesn't make sense in today's economy.
Move most of your clothes (try it first with tops) to a closet in another room. When you need something to wear, grab it from the other closet. Once it has been worn, it can be washed and put back in your original closet. Anything left in the spare closet after 3 months, donate!
You can do this a few times a year with the different seasons. You can do it with pants too though I know most of us have more of a surplus in the tops department. If you haven't worn a certain tank top all summer long, are you really going to miss it when it's finally gone?

Apply a thin layer of glue & press on each piece of ribbon, matching the ends neatly. 3.That straightening iron works on more than ram-bunctious hair: Use it to press between buttons, where a regular iron won’t fit. 432
