Spark reported "clench your muscles for willpower" and this goes along with the old idea to steel yourself to face a situation. Now a study is reported that this is so...clench your muscle for will power in a specific situation.
I use Spark's daily nutrition report. So after I've finished logging my food for the day, and I'm within my calorie range, I run the report. Then if I get an urge to snack later in the night, I tell myself, "You can't do that, you've already run your report, and you don't want to mess up the results." I know it's just kind of a mind trick, but it works for me!
Sending reports of my progress to my PCP, who I have an appt with in a few weeks. She is considering wether or not to start me on diabetic medication, becuase of being over 1 lousy point...She said in her message, to lay of the sugar...I am sure these reports will stun her!
