Using the step tracker on the fitness tracker, start keeping track of the number of steps you take. When I first started sparkpeople last year, I was walking about 3000 to 5000 steps per day. I joined a group that that had steps walked as one of their goals. I worked myself up to 10,000 + steps (recommended) within a year's time. Now I find myself walking more than that routinely!
