Beginning I had a weight loss of 55 lbs. to lose, it seemed so daunting so I did smaller goals of 5 to 10 lbs. and celebrated each. Mentally, its a lot easier to stay on track looking at smaller feats than the larger one at hand.
Normally I would have given up before this point because the large goal seems so daunting constantly staring in my face. I had my mini goal and my overall written in a journal that I kept and watched my overall shrink as the months went on, now I have 13 more lbs. to go until I've reached my goal!
