We entertain ALOT. I would get so confused on who liked what that I started a notebook and put the person/family name at the top of one page and made little notes. Nothing major. For example. Loves bananas or drinks diet coke. Just little things that I can do so everyone feels more at home.
You don't need anything special just index cards or PC file or notebook. I also add birthdays or anniversaries just so I know if they are celebrating anything special while they happen to be here.

Just a quick reminder I discovered when I ran out of groceries. The ugly can of black beans in the back of the cupboard wasn't so awful as I thought it might be. I put some brown rice with some salsa with it. I had some fresh spinach on the side. It was rather tasty. I was low on $ so that had to last for a couple of meals. I actually lost wt. on it. I had some orange juice to drink and soy milk and a multi vitamin daily plus lots of water. When it's rough going, the tough get going.
I found a little spaghetti sauce to throw into the mix for added moisture. When your out of everything it's amazing what you throw together. Everything but the kitchen sink!
Every time I think of it during the day, I hold my stomach in for a count of 10 (or 20) and then release slowly. You would be surprised how quickly this tightens your stomach muscles and make a flat tummy!
