Every day, I post the little emoticon SP has "Day 1" to myself. You often hear that it's just getting started that is so hard. So I decided that I was going to treat every day as "Day 1" and have the same passion and excitement about my new journey as I did from the start. It's worked wonders!

Any time I messed up when working towards a goal, it was too easy to quit. "Well, I already failed, one more soda won't make much difference." Now I remind myself, "Every day is day one." Had a soda yesterday? Today is day one. Today I can keep trying.
I set my alarm on my IPhone to display the following message 3 times per day : "One day, one step, one meal, one action at a time I will begin to make positive choices for my health and wellbeing".. it is a constant reminder to focus on me and my goal of healthy living.
