When you go for a walk or a run, take your kids or dogs (if you have either!) My kids yell to me 'faster' and my dogs tell me the same by pulling on the leash. They are better coaches than even Mickey was to Rocky Balboa!

Short bursts of exercise count! Start with 15, 30, or 1 min of jumping jacks 3-4 times a day. Once you can do one interval without dying, go to the next! Seems like child's play, but it's a great high intensity workout.
If you have (active) children look at them when they play. They play hard and enjoy it. Try to forget to be an adult and play the way they do. They don't worry about burning calories or time. They just feel the wind in their face and the sun on their backs as they run, jump, bike or whatever. Laugh and play like a child. (You'll burn calories)
Life has a lot of lessons in it, & we learn something new each day. Some lessons are good & some can be bad. Listening to my daughter talk about the children she has to take care of & they are from birth to 3 & what parents are doing to them, I want to cry. Having children is an 18 year contract of teaching & caring for them. If you can't get up at night for feedings, changing diapers & all that goes into it, don't have them. Giving 3 month old children medicine to calm them is a crime.
Children are suppose to be able to grow & we are to protect them. Being a child has been taken from them & by 3 they are doing first grade work. Remember they are children & are suppose to get dirty, laugh, play and drive us crazy with Mommy & why. We must each protect the children the best we can.
