Great idea! Not thrilled with walking miles and having pedometer read 18 feet!
REDDOGMOM 7/29/2012 12:52:00 PM

Great idea. I have one that straps on like a wrist watch. I wear it around my ankle. Looks like I'm under house arrest, but it's more accurate than wearing it on my wrist.
PICKLEMIRE 7/29/2012 5:38:00 PM

I have worn a pedometer on my right ankle for years. People still ask "Are you under house arrest?" Remember to double the numbers it only counts the one leg. you will be surprised at how far the bathroom really is. emoticon
KYOSHI216 7/29/2012 1:12:00 PM

Yeah buddy. I can't wait to strap one on. The waist thing has never worked for me. Excellent idea. emoticon emoticon

I've lost two pedometers now, how silly, I didn't even think of tying it to my shoes!
TJMORGAN51 7/29/2012 8:24:00 AM

Probably not a good idea if it is raining. I wear mine in my pocket usually. Love the idea if I am wearing something that does not have a pocket.
JADASMOM2 3/27/2013 7:39:00 PM

Great idea! The pedometer that I have is quite small & it keeps falling off of my waistband, so I don't use it. I'm going to do it. Thanks for the suggestion.

56DEBRIS 3/26/2013 10:31:00 AM

Wearing my pedometer with a shoelace around my ankle may have saved my life. It alerted me when my leg began swelling due to a Deep Vein Thrombosis. emoticon

Other than that, I never could get the thing to read when worn @ my waist. I never doubled the amount of steps though and was was still getting in my 10k occasionally. emoticon

THESLIMMERME1 7/31/2012 6:08:00 PM

New goal for August is to count my steps - couldn't get a battery for my old one - so bought a new one - this one had a strap that clipped on to your clothes - as I have had problems with them falling off in the pass or not recording properly - so think this idea is worth trying -However, if I wear it at my waist - I would like to know which is the best position??? emoticon emoticon emoticon

This is a great idea! My pedometer was always falling off!!
PYNETREE 7/29/2012 9:00:00 AM

Have 2 pedometers...Don't wear them as I don't think I walk enough to justify their use. But I am going to put one on tomorrow, just out of curiosity. And I love this idea, because I was thinking I had to use my waistband, and that doesn't always work. But someone else said they just carry it in their pocket.

So, now, I am going to wear one, just to see how little I really do walk. I think it will make me want to walk a bit further. emoticon
INGMARIE 7/29/2012 8:48:00 AM

NANCYHOME247 7/29/2012 7:06:00 AM

I've been thinking about getting a pedometer. Haven't even seen one, so I don't know how bulky they are. This sounds like a great idea, if they aren't too heavy or bulky.
KITTY1970 12/6/2010 12:14:00 AM

    Never even thought of this
