oh, i don't like admitting this. i was so greedy with food. little things like this, sharing portions, makes all the difference in calorie consumption.
It gets really hard to eat healthy when everyone around you is snacking on chips and cookies. Lucky for me I have a great support system at home as well as work. I work with 3 other women and all of us share to same goal to eat healthy. So every day we have "snack time" all of us bring a piece of fruit or some crackers with cheese and share them. No junk food this makes is so much easier not to have to deal with temptations.
If I'm craving something unhealthy - m&m's, for example - I'll buy a small bag and then empty it onto a plate while I'm in a meeting. I grab just one or two, then I put the plate in the middle of the table, and its gone before I know it. That way, I feel like I got my craving fulfilled without going overboard!
