If you can’t wash it… don’t eat it. You can wash an apple, but have you ever tried to wash a cookie? In theory you can wash a steak, but you can’t wash mashed potatoes. Limit the amount of non-washable foods (don’t eliminate… just limit the amount). It sounds strange but think about it! Have Fun!

Washable: fruit, meats, whole grains, veggies, all stay in tacked when washed. Non-Washable: sodas, cake, chips, icecream. you wouldn’t want to eat them after a washing. yuck! Of course there are anomalies. Hardcandy can be washed, but should you eat it? Milk can't be washed but is good for you.
When I have an urge to eat and I am only in the mood for sugary or greasy treats, I wash things. If the food makes it through the wash, then I can eat it. Imagine washed potoato chips, washed cookies, donuts and cakes. YUCK! But a washed piece of fruit or veggies? DELICIOUS!
