When I am over plain water, I perk it up by adding a tbsp of kool-aid to a bottled water. The kool-aid adds a little kick without all the calories of adding the full measure.

    Same here! I find that most drink mixes are WAY too sweet for me, so I use maybe half a pack in a bottle of water. Makes it go farther and I can stand the taste when it's diluted. I also, sometimes, add slices of fresh lemon, fresh lime, fresh ginger, or fresh mint leaves - sometimes one at a time, sometimes all at once! It's great because they add flavor without adding calories.

    I routinely have a big glass filled with half plain water and half whatever no-calorie drink mix is sitting in the fridge. My daughter hates plain water, so we make the Great Value version of Crystal Light drinks; I find that often they're too sweet for my tastes, but cut with half water they're fine. Usually after the second glass I'm ready for plain ol' H2O!
