I know, I know!! Personal trainers are expensive. I am fortunate enough to be able to fit the cost into my budget even though it is difficult. But I honestly believe that if it were not for Rachel, I would probably not have learned to love exercise. I look forward to our time together.

Maybe more important, I have learned how to do the workout in proper form. Without the expert eye, I may easily have injured myself by not doing the movement properly. I feel I have learned so much from this wonderful experience, and I wish every newcomer to exercise could get a trainer.

  • I think it's important to learn to work out properly, especially at the beginning.
    I took a few sessions of small group classes at the Y, which often turned into one on one sessions, which was great! I also used a post rehab gym for a year after completing physical therapy after knee surgeries and I learned a lot there.
    You wouldn't expect to pick up and instrument and just play, would you?
