I wasn't weighing myself for a couple of weeks and when I did I was amazed. I knew my jeans where a little tighter but didn't pay much attention. I have gained 7 pound and that is not good. Have a banquets to go to but watched what I ate. I keep to my nutrition page and put down what I eat .
I think I have to change what they have me down for because I have to eat more than I am use to, to cover the calories, protein, fat and carbs. Can't gain so have to change, not good.

Dr. David Jenkins of the University of Toronto concluded, “Mixed, unsalted, raw, or dry-roasted nuts have benefits for both blood glucose control and blood lipids and may be used as part of a strategy to improve diabetes control without weight gain.” Those following a natural lifestyle will choose non-irradiated nut sources that have not been processed or altered in any fashion. A 2 ounce serving is recommend by him. Nuts have not been found to contribute to weight gain in his report.
If you gain weight after a vacation or holiday, update tracker w/accurate weight! It's tempting to leave lower weight there. But don't b/c I've learned I lose the weight quicker when I can start using the tracker to show a weight loss, vs leaving it at the lower (inaccurate) weight & being reminded daily that you're not there. That negative reminder might hinder motivation where being accurate (& showing drops right away) will boost motivation!
I have noticed this twice myself and both times after vacation weight gains, delayed updating my tracker to show the weight gain. I had a hard time getting the weight off & finally gave in & updated tracker. Then I was able to update tracker w/"losses" immediately & it boosted my spirits/motivation.
Relapsing into old habits can make things tough, and you feel even worse when the scale starts to rise. However, always remember that a relapse isn't the same as a regain. A lapse is only temporary. Start afresh RIGHT NOW before the lapse turns into something more serious. You can do it!
Relapses tend to disappear quite quickly e.g. overeating for one day will cause water weight gain but not necessarily fat weight gain that arises after weeks or months off plan. Always cut off a relapse at this early stage before it develops into regains and 'off the wagon' episodes.
