The high impact exercises on the DVD are to hard? Don't give up. In stead of jumping along with the instructor march with the knees high at you place and you still have a great workout. Instead of jumping jacks step rights and left and do the arm movements. Don't give up! You can do it!

    since I have a problem with sciatica, this would definitely work for me, and I could still do my workout. thanks for sharing.

    Good point eventually one can also work up to the point of being able to keep up .

    I take Body Pump, CX30, Yoga and Pilates, but because of lymphedema and a prolapsed bladder, I have to adapt many of the exercises so I don't injure myself.
At first, it seemed overwhelming, but it is now part of my routine. If I am concerned about one of the postures or routines, I talk with the teacher after class and will often get alternatives that would not occur to me.
When you think about it, one class can have as many as 50 people, so he or she cannot watch everyone. I feel it is important to be your own advocate.
