you don't need much space....in fact all you need is a corner or two to hold large pots. Container gardening will work in most places. Get a Pot from Target or Home Depot, some seedlings and some soil and you're good to go. If you don't want to go large you can use your window sills and smaller pots for things like herbs and smaller peppers. :)

Between my Dad's wife, me and my neighbor the tomatoes are great. I also participate in local farm share and pass those on too. This adds potatoes, other kinds of squash, and the ever so wonderful garlic scape!! Spring is here and my mouth is watering!

I'd love to do this someday...my G'MIL has maintained an ornamental garden and is good at that...would love to have a vegetable corner for myself in the same place.

Don't have and dumbells at home? You can use bottles of water or canned foods (EX:veggies). My dumbells tend to grow legs around my house with having 6 kids living here. My husband finally figured out why there were peas sitting by the computer when he got home from work yesturday when I was chatting with someone and while waiting for a response I picked them up and did a couple reps with them.
Cutting up and washing raw veggies as soon as I get home ensures I'll always have healthy snacks in the refrigerator!
