Don't throw away those scratched ( expensive) workout dvd's. Most movie rental establishments will resurface them for you at a cost of 2 to 3 dollars. Then they are as good as new. It also won't make you think twice about purchasing used ones.

To prevent your new CD's and DVD's from getting scratched......turn them upside down inside the case. When you put back inside it's encasement....you slide it around to find the center...this results in dust particles scratching the sensitive disk..so turn it over before putting it back in the case and when you slide it to align the hole..it won't scratch it. Saves you alot of money in replacing them and the headache of trying to repair them with those expensive little scratch removing gadgets
