In the past, if I slipped up, I would say 'screw it' and just keep eating bad for the rest of the day. It would turn into the next day, then the next week. Now, I don't wait until the next day, I start with the next snack or meal. I feel good about, and the little slip up is a lesson learned.

Thanks for the reminder. I've spent the last two days not staying within my planned goals. It's good to think about and learn from. And, your tip about jumping back in ASAP really resonates right now.

If you get off track, track it! If God expects us to be human, why can't we expect ourselves to be human from time to time? We can make up for it eventually!

When I slip up, I will track the food anyway. I find that it is often not as bad as I originally thought, going over by only a couple hundred calories helps me get back into that mindset. Plus maybe if I just go to the gym... :)

That's what I do too. Why blow a whole day or week of work because of 1 slip up. Easier to get back on track after 1 slip up than after several. Plus you don't getas upset with yourself.

I totally concur! If I fall off track in the morning, I manage to salvage the rest of the day. I simply challenge myself by planning meals for the remainder of the day and make sure that I don't stray. I remember that I am in the fight of my life!

Thanks!! It's a good reminder that we can't be perfect (as much as we like to think) all the time!!

I'm going through that now, how do you get back on track for the rest of the day?
TRINA1055/12/2010 5:24:00 PM
Thanks for this. It's exactly what I needed today!
