Hard Boiled Eggs

I hard boil eggs a dozen at a time and keep them separate from the other eggs, so I don't mix them up.

They keep for a long time and I can grab one quickly and peel and eat rather than another more high calorie snack.

  • I read (on Spark) that hard boiled eggs will last a week in the fridge. - by BILLY4225
  • I DO THAT TOO! HIGH 5! - by INDEJAM09

FWIW, there is an easy way to tell boiled eggs from raw.

Give it a spin on the counter. A cooked egg will spin fast and evenly. A raw egg will spin slower and less stably. - by GIANT-STEPS
  • I do the same thing! I tend to be short on space, so I put a B on the boiled eggs with a sharpie, so I won't mix them up with the non-boiled ones in the carton. I have always wondered though, how long can you keep boiled eggs for in the fridge? - by NURSEKELLY09
  • I do this as well and generally have 2 hard boiled egg whites for breakfast...It's a great protein source! - by JANEYINMADTOWN
