Although I cannot physically do a lot of yoga, I do what I can, and I try to do some at night a few hours before bed. I practice deep breathing, warrior, and just a few others. It helps me to de-stress, and relax, and align my spine.
Deep breathing, simple yoga poses, can be very relaxing. It has been my main technique to unwind to help me sleep and it works.

Working nights and getting home late, I sometimes find it hard to sleep. I've taken to putting my yoga mat out next to my bed before I go to work. When I get home, instead of sitting on the couch watching TV until I'm tired enough to sleep, I get in a quick yoga session. Stretches me out, relaxes me after a long night, and gets me ready to sleep.
My favorite Yoga DVD's to do are PM Yoga and Power Yoga for Flexibility, both available from Gaiam, featuring Rodney Yee.
I've found that I love yoga! The wonderful stretch it gives my whole body is great! I love to do yoga in the morning to get my day going or even at night with wind down yoga to get me ready for a great night's sleep! 7
My favorite part of yoga is watching my 3 yr old stretch with me. She's so cute!
