I love open-face egg white bagel thin sandwiches for breakfast but I don't like the taste of FF Mayo. So I buy fresh avocados, slice off about 1/8th of a small fruit, mash with salt, pepper and dijon mustard and spread on half a toasted bagel thin. Intense flavor with less calories & healthier fat
Cut calories by digging out the hefty middle filling of those big bread servings like bagels, biscuits, croissants, etc.. You can also buy the thin versions of bread e.g. Thomas' Bagel Thins
I wanted to make a quick chicken sandwich on a dinner roll but felt guilty about eating all that bread, so I dug out the middle of the roll and barely noticed the difference in taste.
I LOVE bread. I found it really hard at first to cut back on my baked good intake at first but then I found bagel thins! They are just a yummy and I only need 1 serving of cream cheese to cover both halves. On a regual bagel I was using 2 servings or more. Yay!
