Take the boredom out of salads. Keep a variety of different salad fixin's to vary up your plate. I keep craisins, low fat feta cheese, low sodium - low fat grated cheeses, low sodium turkey breast, as well as broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, celery, frozen baby peas and healthy salad dressings.
Use baked Tortilla chips for taco salad, with low fat sour cram, and cooked ground turkey meat, add apple slices, orange slices, tuna, shrimp to further enhance the salad variety.

Instead of dressings for salad, I use salsa. It comes in different "heats" and it adds some zest. A Lot fewer calories compared to most dressings and is fat free. It is perfect for those of us who love tomatoes.
