Get tired in the afternoon? Change shoes! It really does work. Foot fatigue can affect your entire body. I keep a second pair of shoes under my desk and change in the afternoon. It really refreshes you! And it is calorie free!!
Wearing cute, flat comfortable shoes as much as possible helps me get in more exercise. I am more likely to stand rather than sit and be more active while still looking pulled together because they are cute and don't look like track shoes. I can get exercise in without having to change shoes and I can come back from my walk and hop right into my next meeting. Some days the only exercise I manage is the daily walk at work. In heels I sit at my desk all day.
Aerosoles and Sketchers are good places for work appropriate but comfy shoes.
