Someone brought a plate of your favorite cookies to work and you just have to have one. How do you handle that? Do you tell yourself that you can have just one and TRY not to eat anymore? That never worked for me, so I started doing the following.
Whenever anyone brings in a treat at work, and it is something that I really need to taste/have, I have started telling myself that I can have one. But, I wait until there is only one left or take one as I am on my way home. Then I can't binge. Works every time!!!
