I have used this strategy for a long time and it works for me. I eat basically 400 calories at each main meal and one 100-200 calorie snack. If your calorie allotment is higher eat three 400 calorie meals and 2-3 snacks at 100-300 calories depending on your calorie range.

    This is pretty close to what I aim for on a daily basis as well.

    I do the same kind of thing, allowing for 300-350 at lunch and breakfast and a few extra calories for dinner with the family. This still gives me 200-300 for snacks in the day as well (or a treat). Lost 2lbs /week on this plan, and always full.
