Going slowly in the beginning is working for me. Using a program of walking daily I'm doing something good for myself and developing what I hope is a lifetime habit. I like to think I'm building a solid foundation.
With the right music or TV show exercise isn't at all boring and the rush I feel when I'm done is worth it to me to get on the treadmill even when I don't really want to.

I have discovered I really love to exercise and after 1 week of working out every day I actually look forward to my next workout. It's time for me to spend doing something good for myself.
I'm doing much better now that I admit when i go wrong. Sometimes I do eat something i shouldn't have. But instead of beating myself up and feeling bad i admit it was not the best thing to do and draw a line under it and get back to doing what i was doing when i was doing good!!
