The best way, for me, to track progress is to take my measurements once a week and try on smaller clothing. I only get on the scale once a month because watching the scale too often can be discouraging---especially when you don't realize that the 1-2 lbs gained was muscle. Losing inches ensures me that I'm burning fat. Therefore, the scale doen't mean as much anymore.
I get frustrated when I watch the scales stand still...so I look at the whole picture. In cold weather, it's not as hard to bundle up. My clothes are loose enough now to put on layers.....THAT's a positive feeling!!!! What the scales don't show is size loss.
Paying too much attention to only one aspect of your SP program can provide skewed information. Looking at the whole picture...I would rather weigh a ton and look like I weighed an ounce than the other way around.
It's time to rid your fridge of those holiday yummies if you haven't already. Send them to friends who aren't watching their scales. Keep only the things you can make healthy dishes from. Freeze what you can and save for another day. But above all, get your triggers out of the house! We have another holiday right around the corner and we must be in our best shape! 34484 We can do it!
