To me tracking weight loss in kilograms means the significant 5/10kg loss points seem long way apart. So I'm also mentally tracking in stones (I'm from the UK) and pounds. That way I give myself more pats on the back when I hit a round number of 10 pounds or drop to the next stone.
For example, I've dropped from 135kg to 133kg. That's good, but I also got an extra boost by dropping to 20 stone-something from 21st. My next 'goal' is 290 pounds., then 130kg. Smaller increments are more achievable!

I have figured out why sometimes you see multiple entries of the same thing on a SP page. DO NOT CLICK THE "BACK"BUTTON" as it makes the computer go crazy and results in multiple entries, I even once saw a comment on it and the person was called "rude" for postings that were an obvious error.
I have a desire to loose over 150 pounds to reach my ideal weight. However, this goal or wish is very overwhelming to me. Therefore I have set a smaller goal of loosing 10 pounds at a time to focus upon (rather than focusing on the 150+ pounds that I need to loose). This smaller goal is helping me reach my larger goal so far I see that I can reach my 10 pound goal and move on to the next 10 pounds and the next. Ultimately I see the positive not the impossible/overwhelming.
Set your goals so that you are not overwhelmed. It will help with your success. 306
Every where I look, in my own personal space is my ultimate goal. I wake up to it. I brush by it. I pass by it multiple times each day...it is logging into my subconscious the truth that I am really after. And it is in code...so only I know what it means. This keeps it sneaky and fun for me. Never boring!306
