I do my big grocery shop on Sunday then put everything pre-measured into ziplock baggies with the calories written on the front so we can mix and match to get our calories for the day. It takes an hour or so, but then everything is grab and go of a morning!

More Information:

I bought a cheapy scale at the grocery store and always use the online "how many calories does ____ have?" to get exact measurements. And I swear by my measuring cups!

  • I do that on Saturday mornings, although it takes me more than an hour. It's well worth the time to make a once a week mess in the kitchen for weekday meals on the table in within 10 mins. - by DIANE7786
