I do my big grocery shop on Sunday then put everything pre-measured into ziplock baggies with the calories written on the front so we can mix and match to get our calories for the day. It takes an hour or so, but then everything is grab and go of a morning!
MORE INFORMATION:
I bought a cheapy scale at the grocery store and always use the online "how many calories does ____ have?" to get exact measurements. And I swear by my measuring cups!

I do that on Saturday mornings, although it takes me more than an hour. It's well worth the time to make a once a week mess in the kitchen for weekday meals on the table in within 10 mins.

I do something similar but I really like your idea for writing the calories on the bags. Thanks for sharing this tip.

I never thought of listing the calories on the front of the container! What a terrific idea. Thanks!

I am lucky enough to live close enough to work that I can go home for lunch every day. Since I sit at a computer most of my day at work, I use my lunch hour to be active. I usually eat something very simple to make and then use the rest of my hour to pick up the house, load/unload the dishwasher, make the bed, etc and sometimes even get some strength training done. Getting this done during lunch also means more time for fun things after work!
