If you are having problems staying regular, I suggest adding flax seed meal to your diet. Just two teaspoons provides the daily recommended amount of fiber. It has a nutty flavor and can be added to hot cereal, ground beef or chicken, etc., and it keeps everything moving!

    Thanks for the tip - I will definitely try this. Have tried Fiber 1 bars but they don't seem to do it for me....

    While I love flax seeds and have been using them for many years, two teaspoons doesn't even come close to the RDA for fiber consumption which for adult women is in the vicinity of 21-25 grams.

    try 2 T. per day and make sure it is ground and not whole for better absorption of nutrients. Whole flax seeds just go right through the body.
