Chemical Free Microwave Cleaning

This Sparked Me!

Wet a dish rag or sponge, put it in the microwave and "cook" for a least a minute. Let the dish rag sit in the microwave for a minute as it will be too hot to handle. Wipe out the inside and door of microwave. It's easy and it doesn't cost you anything. Works great for tough cooked on spills!

It would probably be chemical free at a lower time like 20 or 30 sec. and it would still be hot where you would have to sit til it cooled. Good idea

This is also a great way to sanitize your sponges.

Great Idea, thanks. I think you could also try putting a few lemon drops on the sponge to freshen and cut grease too. emoticon

boiling a cup of water will also create steam and help loosen any debris - making it much easier to clean
