I have a teen girl that eats more than a kids meal now, but THINKS she can eat a WHOLE big meal. She has the calorie burn to do it, but as we know... :( - so we are splitting meals now! I eat less and she does too plus she eats WAY faster than I do, so it makes a built in portion control for me!!

I tried losing weight many times with no success. If this is happening to you - Try counting your calories. It is the only way I ever have any success in weight loss. Tracking your fitness minutes is fun too, but I find calories super-important!
Stay in your range of calories and try to split your calories into 5 meals per day to speed up your metabolism!9
2 weeks on the road during 2011 Christmas, and I split meals with my wife, always using portion control!
I was never deprived of local delicacies...I went through N'awlins, BBQ Country, Christmas cookies, and Lincoln, NE with Valentino's Pizza and Runzas! Came home, weighed in at 168.2. My maintained weight is 170!
My sisters and I will often buy bulk items and split it and the cost between us, 10 pounds of potatoes would be much too much for just DH and I. But split 4 ways it's just enough. When one of us sees a bargain, we'll call the others to see if they need or want to share.
