I do believe what SP says about having a good sleep. I feel that if we use positive messages before going to bed, meditate, etc., that your sleep will be better and kick start your plateau, stopping that hormone, cortisol, from keeping us from losing weight.
Yowzer! SP becomes better and better. Looking forward to all the wonderful new addition. SP is not only a life saver, but a grand adventure. Thank you SP.

This is so obvious, but for those of us who have trouble accepting the obvious, I'm here to say sleep deprivation will affect every aspect of your life. Forever I've thought I could be okay on 5-6 hours a night but I'm starting to realize how much this affects my eating & exercise. GET YOUR 8 HRS!
To get on the right track it is important to eliminate sugar & processed foods for about a week. The 1st few days are hard but, well worth it! After that, here are some tips: 1) drink 2 glasses of H2o & have an ounce of nuts for a snack. 2) Take a power nap. Sleep deprivation causes carb cravings! 3)Plan ahead! Prepare premeasured snacks for the next day like a small, fat free yogurt with fruit so u are not tempted by chips/cookies. Personal power goes a long way in this journey. Plan ahead!4
Stress is a HUGE trigger! Harnessing your personal power means planning for this and knowing what u can do to cope. Planning ahead will keep u on track. Cravings are strong but, short lived. Each time u make the right choice is victory!
When I remember how I used to tell my children "No" all the time, did not mean I wanted to deprive them of happiness, I just wanted to divert their happiness to something else more beneficial for them, it helps to remember that for myself now!
