When you switch out your summer and winter clothese in your closet put the hangers on backwards. When you wear that item of clothing turn the hanger around the right way. That way you know what you have worn. At the end of the season get rid of anything that is still hung the wrong way.
I believe that each time we change our summer/winter clothese we need to reasses how they fit, their condition, and how much we still like them. No need to store clothes that we are never going to wear again. Go on...give it a try!

The best thing I did for maintenance was to get rid of all my old clothes. I did wear them loose for a while but then when I started buying new clothes I got rid of them and never looked back. I had lost weight before and kept the old clothes and ended up having to wear them again. I think not wanting to spend the money buying big clothes is a great motivator. 30
As you lose weight, get rid of the "fat clothes," the clothes that have become too big on you, and never turn back.
Make a pact with yourself never to buy bigger clothes again. Unless you simply want to keep one item for nice "proof" photos of your former self. This is a huge motivating factor for me to keep my weight where it is, and not allow myself to backtrack. It's my "no-turning-back" policy
