If I eat a sandwich I mash an avocado and use it a spread instead of mayonnaise. Granted avocados are high in fat (healthy fat) but they are much lower than mayonnaise and the avocados have nutritional value.

instead of mayo, spread ripe avocado onto your sandwich! sneaks in an extra serving of veggies and cuts the calorie/fat content of your sandwich. or try mixing the avocado with half a teaspoon of mayo to get the flavor you want but still reducing the calories. enjoy!
Sometimes creamy salad dressings are just better. But stop myself from reaching for the cesear or ranch dressing I just add a chopped egg and half an avocado, along with a simple balsamic vinaigrette. I put a plate on top of my bowl and shake or toss really well. The egg yolk and avocado add a creamy quality while supplying my body with the good fats and some protein! Yummy.
