I've lost most of my weight, but am working to be fitter. I recently broke a mental plateau by doing my first 5k. The idea of it indimidated me, but now that I've done it, I am unstoppable!

More Information:

Don't pick something that seems impossible-- a marathon wasn't the right goal for me. Pick something that is new and intimidating-- not terrifying!

  • I'm also trying to break a mental plateau. I've discovered something too that might help. More like learning a new technique than pushing yourself further on an activity. But im sure it will help boost me. I'm trying new jump rope techniques - by SABA_MALI
  • Totally agree, was intimidated by push ups - afraid of face planting can do them on counter and even modified on floor now. Still a little scary but I am pushing past "I can't" and changing it to "I Can". - by LADYJ6942
