Being quick to forgive is a wonderful gift to yourself. Carrying grudges around for any length of time is like carrying unnecessary weight. Go on an emotional diet program and get rid of unnecessary burdens.

Make a list of everyone (including yourself) that has committed an offence against you. Figure out how long the feeling has lasted and then make a final decision of whether or not it's worth it to stay angry over old problems.

    Thisis a good reminder......lots of females carry around grudges....over simple things...for years sometimes.......Its not good for our mind and spirit......Let it go......Forgive. emoticon

    I totally agree. Holding onto a grudge usually doesn't do anything but hurt the person holding on to it. If it's something petty, let it go. If it's about something serious, try to address it with the person involved. Or accept that the person has serious shortcomings and move on.

    This is so true! If only I had discovered this years ago! Forgiving myself is the most difficult, but it opens up a whole new way of living!
