What's a blitzens? For those of you that don't know, it's a crepe filled with cottage cheese or another filling such as blueberries. Blitzen's by Golden can be found in the freezer section. I love the one's stuffed with cottage cheese...at 80 calories each and 13 carbs each, I can eat three with a dollop of sour cream and a side of green beans, feel full and still stay on track
Eggplant is made up of mostly water. Eggplant is low in calories and fat and is a nonstarchy fruit that is cooked as a vegetable. Eggplant is from the potato nightshade family. Great for diabetics or when dieting
Eggplant is best if steamed or bakes...add cheese and tomatoes and it's a great side dish ir main dish
I made a big list of everything I cook that my family likes. I also made a list of side dishes. These lists are made up of recipes I know or can get my hands on easily. This way, when I am uninspired, I just look at my list and pop into the store on the way home. Also, when I come across a new recipe that is quick, easy and enjoyed by the whole family, it goes on the list.
