Drinking water or coffee. My trick for not eating much is that first cup of coffee in the morning. It satisfies me and I am not hungry. When I am at work I drink most of my 8-8oz. glasses of water and then some. That fools my brain to, makes it think I am not hungry.

Sharing this secret made me glad since I'm using the same technique though unintentionally for quite some time...

I agree with Lori. You really do need a little protein at each meal. Also, I find high fibre foods are really good fillers and stave off the hunger very nicely. Try some raspberries or strawberries. Even 1/2 c. of brown rice. Couple that with a bit of protein and you're good to go.

Although delaying eating for a little while is helpful. It is setting yourself up to be overly hungry when you do eat. Eating a small amount of protein works to you benefit.

Make your coffee pot last up to four times longer and keep that real coffee taste. Once every 6-8 weeks add a half cup of vinegar to the water and let it cycle through.
Simply rinse with another cycle of plain water and your coffee will continue to taste great and won't get "hardening of it's arteries".
I have one cup a coffee once or twice a week so I like to make it last. The only problem is that it does get cold so fast. To keep my coffee warm longer, I pour very hot tap water into my coffee cup while my coffee is brewing. I pour out the hot water and pour in the coffee. Works like a charm! 106
