Keep a glass of water next to the bed. I've found that when I wake up I'm often very by keeping the glass of water by the bed its in quick reach and if I wake up in the middle of the night I'm not having to fumble around in the kitchen emoticon

I like this idea, but I'm not going to do it. Why not? I have "fumble thumbs" at the best of times, and in the middle of the night I would most likely water the carpet with what's in the glass!

    So true

I fill my "jug" of water, often I have drank 32oz just over night. Last night I did not drink any. In the mornings I am working on a new habit... giving my plants drinks with the left overs so they are happier too.

I agree. I drink about 1/2 a bottle during the night.

    I do the same thing.

I do this too, but I fill my glass with ice instead of water.

And in the morning, the water that is left has two important purposes. It begins your water intake for the day and it reminds me to take my daily blood pressure medicine. My husband also relies on this routine to take his cholesterol medicine each morning. Routine is good!

(I do this as well, and) I refill it in the morning and drink it when I am getting ready for work!
GENOME 5/4/2010 10:40:00 AM

I do this too... though I prefer cold water... I know room temperature is better for your body.
