I get some of my favorite tv shows (Friends, Sex and the City, Bones, etc.) on DVD (usually from Netflix) and ONLY allow myself to watch an episode if I'm working out! Plus, it helps the 45 minutes to an hour go very fast!

Reading something from Dr. Oz I think it was......he never watches a TV show unless he either exercises at the same time OR exercises the same amt of time he watches TV, say 1/2 hr or so & I've tried to do the same thing. When I used to watch The Biggest Loser (I rarely watch TV any more), I'd lift weights right along with the people on TV. idea to reinforce!

I do this with taped shows or on demand shows. i just pick up where I left of the day before.

I also do this, but I watch the shows on my iPhone at the gym. I'm currently watching season 6 of The Biggest Loser and it is very motivating to watch while working out. I only allow myself to watch it while working out and sometimes I'm dying to know what happens next, so that inspires me to go work out!

good for you! I do the same thing. I always almost workout during my Netflix viewing. I get my workout in, am entertained at the same time and I am spending qualaity time with DH as well.
