Eat a tablespoon of natural peanut butter and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese before bed!

More Information:

Sounds odd....but the combination gives you the right amount of proteins and fat that digest very slowly. This will keep your metabolism going till morning! Weight Lifters use this to keep their furnaces running.

  • It works for me and it is kind of like a treat before bed. Been doing it for about 2 weeks and have not had any gains. It may be in my head, but I have been feeling very satisfied. I hate the "don't eat too late" fad. why should you starve yourself for 10+ hours a day (assuming you eat around 8 hours a night) - by MEGSANDBACON
  • sorry...i meant to say "sleep" instead of "eat" 8 hours...as mentioned on the comment below. Thanks! - by MEGSANDBACON
  • Great idea! I'm going to try this. I've been working out like crazy and not losing ANY weight for 5-6 weeks now.
My plateau has it's own plateau!
I REALLY hope this helps. emoticon - by WOOZKAT

I'm going to try 1/4 c. cottage cheese and 1/2 T. peanut butter. Although I'm losing just fine right now...maybe wait until I have a plateau.

  • very interesting!! I think that the reason most say "don't eat before bed" is because of what most will eat... junk! I'm going to give this a try! - by BNSPIRD

  • I have also heard from my personal trainer that not eating before bed is a fad. My sister stops eating at 7pm and then doesn't eat breakfast until 7am or 8am. I think that is way too long to go without eating! - by MRS_RICE08
  • This is very interesting, I'm going to try this idea. emoticon - by DEBRA1233
  • Interesting...I wonder if it is true.. - by JANNISH
