    That's why DB and I pushed the boat out and got ourselves a personal trainer - we knew that the discipline of a professional would keep us focussed, although DB was, as a flier in the RAF until his recent retirement, always very good at working out in order to maintain his required level of fitness. Me, I hated gyms with a deadly loathing but, surprise surprise, that has all changed! Even without the personal trainer I will now push myself really hard and not take things easy just because he or she (he just went to the other side of the world for a year, so we have a new she!) isn't there - but drumming up the effort to get changed and either exercise here in the house or drive the 10 miles to the gym, well, that's the struggle. Once I'm in my kit, and especially once I'm actually in the gym, that's it! I'm there and 'going for it'! Yup - definitely worth every ounce of effort, physically and mentally. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    ...and I find that by doing it when you don't feel like it, you build up the habit of always exercising. It pays off down the road.

    Thank you, this REALLY helped me today, felt like this secret was meant for me. I was planning to skip my walk today just because there are many other things in the home that "needs" to be done, but my health is more worth investing in then a tidy home! :-)
